Sarah Caldwell5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing story of hope faith and love.Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2022Verified PurchaseI just finished this book. I’ve had it in my library since it was released but hadn’t taken the time to read it yet. With the week I’ve had I knew it was time (just diagnosed with a tumor on my brain lining and auditory canal). I honestly had put it off because I knew the end and was heartbroken just thinking about reading through it. But this book is exactly what I needed to read this week. It puts so much into perspective and gave me hope in this journey I am on. Laura’s faith and fight is something I have admired since the very first post I saw about her years ago. I was blessed to have had a few message exchanges with her through her journey. Please take the time and read her story told by her dad. It will change your life and perspective. Thank you Banner Kidd for sharing your family and Laura’s story with the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars easy, moving readReviewed in the United States on December 29, 2021Verified PurchaseI just finished the audiobook. This story of hope within heartache had me laughing and crying with each page turn. Laura’s Healing Journey is a beautiful story about love, family, and doing the best to move forward in faith with whatever circumstances this earthly life throws your way. I read the first part of the book. It is a lengthy book, but easy to read. I found myself reading quickly through each chapter. I finished the book by listening to the audio version. I felt like Banner was in my living room personally relaying the story just to me. It was special to hear the author read the words the way he intended them to be expressed. It’s an easy, moving read.

5.0 out of 5 stars We won’t forget you, my friend.Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2022Verified PurchaseLaura wanted nothing more than to use her illness as a way to reach others in a positive way. I also know that she loved our Heavenly Father, and she wanted us all to know that. There were parts that were raw, and I was in tears, but I really believe her dad did just as she’d have wanted. She wanted to share her journey with the world, with hopes that it would help even just one person. And, she didn’t want us to forget her. I know I won’t. ❤

Aimee4.0 out of 5 stars So real!Reviewed in the United States on December 24, 2021Verified PurchaseKnowing Laura Kidd growing up and her being one of my daughters best friends, this book was so raw and real. I’m so thankful that Laura got to spend her last 4 years with the love of her life Cody. You will cry and laugh as you read her dads story of her life.

Charlotte T.5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful! Read Laura’s Healing Journey:Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2021Verified PurchaseI knew Laura (I met her at CHIPSA in the fall of 2017) and this book is a very accurate description of her suffering and her faith through it. She was such a light to others who were also walking the same path. I have never known such an upbeat person, especially to be going through what she was. Her family is also a true example to follow. Thank you, Banner, for your dedication to fidelity and truth and in honoring Laura in this way.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful testament to a wonderful personReviewed in the United States on December 14, 2021Verified PurchaseLaura was truly one of the most wonderful people you could hope to meet. I’ll never forget singing opera with her while making Italian food when she would come over. This book is about who she was, loving, kind, and the funniest lady I knew.
